Disaster Preparedness mapping in Ponneri |
EAT under took and assignment for Avvai Village Welfare Society and GTZ and conducted Vulnerability mapping for disaster in 18 wards of Ponneri. The project is funded by European Commission. The exercise has helped in identifying the vulnerable areas and communities and also helped in identifying the immediate needs to address any disaster in those locations both on long term and short- term basis. |
Youth Sabha programme |
Creation of Youth Shaba to improve education and other social responsibilities of youth in Nagapattinam. The project was- done in 15 villages covering 620 youth. The project was done for Bharathi Women Development Centre funded by Child Fund. |

EAT undertook an assignment to identify the needs for children in Vellakanni block and developed a strategic plan that is to be implemented over 5 years. Further to it EAT is lending handholding support in assessing the children on the educational competenciesand improving their skills in terms of learning, writing and memorizing. Teachers are trained on how to teach and upskill the children. The assignment is done for Bharathi Women Development Centre and is funded by Child Fund. |
